Cloud Watching

This blog may be quiet for a few days!
We don't get satellite reception when under cloud cover.

One day Jesus said to his disciple,"Let's go over to the other side of the lake." So they got into a boat and set out. As they sailed, he fell asleep. A squall came down on he lake, so that the boat was being swamped, and they were in great danger.

The disciples went and woke him, saying,"Master, Master, we're going to drown!"

He got up and rebuked the wind and the raging water; the storm subsided, and all was calm. "Where is your faith?" he asked his disciples.

In fear and amazement they asked one another, "Who is this? He commands even the winds and the water, and they obey him."

Please pray along with us that he again rebukes the wind and waves. That he would cause the storm to diminish and steer it in a direction that keeps people everywhere unharmed.

We have done a few things in preparation- figured out less is necessary than in the U.S. We don't have electricity so we don't have to worry about losing it!! We've also talked with and prayed with and tried to prepare our neighbors & employees. So far we've only had a light shower and the temp has dropped to 85F. We believe we are safe and in God's hands.
