We planned a quiet, restful day... we should have known better!
There came a knock on the door... "the police are here" was announced. That's not good start!

They weren't here for Micheline. They came to bring 2 new babies to us.
They had dropped by a week ago and asked us if we would take them. Their mother drags them through the market each day arguing and threatening people with her machete. The police have tried to take them away before, but she cut the nice police lady on the arm! They were finally successful. We spent the afternoon rearranging and opening a new toddler room. We are going to need lots more baby & toddler type things. I'll post a list in a couple of days.
The oldest child's name is John Lito. We guess that he is 3 1/2 years old.
The baby's name is unknown. He is probably around 4 months. He has big hands & feet! His red hair is a result of malnutrition.
It's pretty overwhelming to a new baby coming in to our great big family... but the children are as excited as any siblings over the arrival of a new baby brother!
