Company's coming

Rusty and Fred Brown (Murray Hill) are in Haiti. Sarah and Mama Cheryl are back in the US waiting on grandbaby #4 to make his debut :-) Fred went right to work on building steel gates for the school. He's a great guy and hard worker with a heart for Haiti. He's been on team several times before.
We're expecting company!! A team of 1 man and 9 ladies will arrive tomorrow afternoon. As you can see Fred, Rusty, the children and some other helpers have been busy sprucing up and preparing for their arrival. I always get teased about the way I move furniture each month before the arrival of a new team.... but I see it's rubbed off on the guys ;-) This room had bunk beds in it when I left, but the guys thought the ladies would be more comfortable un-bunked! And is that a fresh coat of paint I see on the floor?? Woww! The children get really excited when we start to prepare for our teams and love to help- just like your kids at home. Rusty says these girls have been following him everywhere asking to help (and also wanting to know why Sarah didn't come to play with them). He said they even miss Mama Cheryl (but not as much as I miss them :-( so finally the long faces and pestering won out and Rusty, Fred & 10 children loaded up and went to the beach.
Fred was the cameraman, so Rusty even got to have his picture made with the beach group, for once -he's the pale one in the back ;-) Rusty says the weather is perfect, not like up here in frigid Florida, they swam for 3 hours without even a shiver, and this evening it had already cooled down to 78 by 9 pm. Perfect in his book. He says Fred is really enjoying the children and is proud as a papa of all that they've accomplished since he saw them last.
