This is was so amazing I had to share it. I just copied our actual e-mails and posted them.

Cheryl,
How are you guys set for formula? The Publix on San Jose near 295 has some small cans on sale for 3.79 each--about the 7-8$ can size range. I can pick some up if we need them. The date of expiry on these is Dec 08, but figured we'd use them all by then anyway...
Please let me know,
A.....

Also, I had gotten some army duffels on ebay...do you still need more...I can get them for about $4 each...please let me know...

Hi A.....,
Yes!! We have a big need for formula. I don't have ANY ahead, just barely making it month to month and sometimes I have to purchase to keep up with the demand. We have 7 babies on formula so you can imagine how much we use!

Thank you so much for the seabags. We don't need any more right now. We had a big need when we had back -to -back teams and especially because I had to UPS some to other states for teams. Isn't that a praise- teams even from elsewhere in the US! Now after all those teams the last 2 months, my big need is sleep! LOL!
Thanks again. Bondye beni ou.

I was ignorant of the brand or type when I first emailed and was grossly under in my price estimation of the cans. Hoping this is something that we are able to use...it was originally 27.79 per can at Publix. I bought all 21 cans that they had and was prepared to pay the 3.69, but thought to ask the manager if he were willing to discount the cans any more considering that I would be buying all they had and that the formula was to be used by an orphanage in Haiti. The manager very quickly responded that he would sell them to me for 2.00 per can. On the receipt, my "savings" were shown at 515.80 and when I did the math...it's a bit overwhelming. I looked up the formula online to verify and found that it is a specially made formula for medical conditions...
I'll drop the cans off at Crown Point tomorrow unless you need me to bring them somewhere else...
Blessings,
A.....

I didn't ask her about sharing so I left her name out, but A.... is a wonderful lady from Crown Point Bapt. She keeps up with us and is always sending little notes of encouragement as well as looking for ways to help with the ministry.

Thank You so much!

And of course, A... keeps up with the blog too...thanks for sharing this. It is my absolute pleasure to help in ways that I am able. Medical conditions will unfortunately keep me from returning to Haiti, but I will be keeping up on this side of the ministry. Blessings always... A...
