Prayer Request

Please pray for Jill & Jason and their unborn baby girl.

Jason is my daughter's brother-in-law and his wife Jill is expecting their 1st child. She has been in the hospital for a week with placenta abruption. She is in her 34th week of pregnancy. The doctors will keep her in the hospital to monitor both Mom & baby until the delivery, which they are trying to stall until at least her 36th week. Her body has not been co-operating.

Tonight Jason was on his way back to the hospital when he was injured (not seriously, we think) in an auto accident. A young girl pulled into the path of his car and they collided almost head-on. The teenager was also taken to the hospital with what is believed to be only minor injuries. The passenger in her car, however, was seriously injured and had to be life-flighted to the hospital.

Jason is still in the E.R. getting a CAT scan as he has a lot of bruising on his chest from the airbag and also on his arm and feet, but he is doing amazingly well considering the severity of the crash. Please pray for the family in the other car- their physical, emotional & spiritual well-being. Please pray also for Jason & Jill for the same things. We are asking for protection of their baby girl, that this additional shock doesn't harm Jill or her baby or cause her to deliver too early. Pray for a healthy, happy baby; an easy, uncomplicated delivery; and that Both parents are safe and healthy and can look back on this time as a joyful event filled with answered prayers of protection. Thanks.

Other News...
I made a quick trip to Central Florida to visit my parents yesterday and returned this evening. My mom had Cataract surgery and is doing great. It's really amazing how that surgery has changed and is now such a quick & much easier process. She was a bit apprehensive before the procedure, but came out smiling and has been pain-free with only slight discomfort. The doctor has promised that after her eyes have healed she won't even need glasses!
Now it's back to Grandma duty again for me!!
