Sorry we've been away from bloggity land for a couple of weeks. I've been down & out fighting a sciatic nerve problem. We also have big computer problems... or e-mail problems... or internet problems. Or maybe it's a combination of all three. If we knew exactly what the problem was, maybe we could fix it!! Anyway, our internet has been sporatic at best, and now that Rusty is back in Haiti, our e-mail won't work.
Our temporary solution-
- we have a new temporary e-mail address rustycheryl@gmail.com
- if you have sent an e-mail in the last 2 weeks or so, we probably did not receive it- please try again at the temporary address.
- if you can explain to us (Rusty) via e-mail how to disable the MS outlook, maybe I can read incoming messages from a stateside computer.
- our MS Outlook would not send e-mails (even before this latest demon-possession) only receive them- so we would read them in outlook and reply from going directly into bellsouth- usually it took 2 computers to accomplish this. This happened only in Haiti. It would previously send & receive from the US. Calling this frustrating is probably the understatement of the year! Does anybody have any ideas?
Oh, by the way, we had a safe trip home & have been able to speak to lots of people about Haiti. Rusty is in Haiti now, but we will all be home for Christmas. We are planning to enjoy some great family time and get a grandbaby fix! Sarah has already managed to fit in some ice skating lessons. It turns out she is a natural. I'll try and get you caught up on all things Haiti and maybe even a little family stuff in the next few days.
