What a blessing we consider it to be in Haiti this week! The Mandarin Baptist, Ocean Park Baptist, and West Normandy Baptist mission team is keeping very busy! Monday, we worked on various projects at the
school, construction and painting in the orphanage, preparing for medical clinic, and Pastor Armando led a pastor's conference at the church with at least 50 Haitian pastors. Monday afternoon we loaded up the trucks to take the orphanage children to the beach.
This is an outing they always look forward to, as it's the only place they really get to go besides school, church, and the orphanage. Today, Tuesday, medical clinic started off with many patients waiting to be seen. At least 75 groups and individuals went through the clinic. West Normandy group entertained those waiting with a puppet show and games. Pastor Armando prayed before the clinic and shared with the patients that it is only through the love of Jesus Christ that we are in Haiti to help them. There is a little baby girl named Madeline that was brought to the clinic very malnourished and we will have to nurse her back to health. She is 2 years old but doesn't look it! Please continue to pray for her health, for those who were seen today, for the patients who will be seen tomorrow (Wednesday), and for our team to continue to love on the people in Haiti.
