Blah, blah, Blog!

OK....
so you are probably wondering why my blog posts seem to come in spurts or sputters.

Sometimes I post daily or at least every few days for weeks...

and then I'm silent for a spell. What gives? you ask.

Well, sometimes I feel so awed and amazed and tremendously blessed at all God is doing, that my praise and adoration just rolls out like waves on the ocean.

But other times I am so busy and overwhelmed or just plain tired that I just can't seem to form any coherent thoughts to share.

Right now I'm feeling a bit lonely.
It seems sometimes that we are swimming upstream.
I know it is untrue and Satan's way of slowing me down... which is why it's hard work and tiring- it's part of the battle.

I've been working the last few days on taking the info and photos I have on the children and sorting and organizing it all so that Paige (our sponsor coordinator) can get it out to the sponsors. It drives me crazy, because I have to collect the child info & pics in Haiti, then wait til I get back in the US to work on it due to inconsistent internet & power & slow upload speeds, but I never have all the info I need and have to wait to fill in gaps when I return to Haiti again. It can take 2 or 3 months just to complete the update. Crazy & frustrating, to say the least.

As crazy and frustrating as that is, it is even more of a burden to me to look into the photos again and again and to read and re-read about the children. They are great kids, survivors in the face of unimaginable circumstances. They don't require much. They deserve everything.

We have around 170 children in our program. More than 100 of them are not sponsored. Is there anyone who is praying for those children? Anyone to ask if they have a dream? Anyone to tell them that they are special & loved?

There are many of you who read this to stay connected with us and the mission, who faithfully lift both our family and the children up daily in prayer, and are constantly asking what our needs are. Thank you. We need you. We are blessed by you.
Please help us spread the word about these precious children who need someone to love and pray for them.
