Calling All Teachers

Can't go to Haiti, but want to help?
Here's your chance!
This Saturday, May 5, a workshop will be held at Crown Point Baptist Church to plan and create teaching materials for our Haiti Summer School program.
We need educators, SS teachers, & crafty ladies who would like to help to come- supplies in hand- from 2-4 pm.
We will be making a very basic, Bible-based program focusing on reading, writing, and math for grades pre-K through grade 5.
The summer theme is:
Christmas in July

So grab your Bible stories, scissors, glue sticks and math game makings- Put on your elf hat and come on out to share in some mission making fun!
(Note: Students do not speak English. Instructions will need to be in French. Word documents can be translated at no cost from English to French online)

Rusty & Cheryl,

I met you in February while at the beach with the Livesays. I am a friend of Tara's...my daughter and I were visiting, but not part of the IN team that was there at the same time. I used to work with Tara at a stateside organization that ran a Haitian orphanage. My church has recently been led in a very specific way in Haiti and I wondered if I could email directly with you to ask some questions about how you got set up in Haiti? I didn't see an email address here on the blog. Thanks.
