Dirty Jobs

When Rusty is not in Haiti ....or talking about Haiti, or gathering supplies for Haiti, or meeting someone about Haiti.... this is what he does!
He drills water wells in Florida. Right now he's got work in Jax, Palm Coast & Naples. It's hard, dirty work with really long days.... and he loves it =)

Larry & Rusty go way back. Our families have been in the well-drilling business, and worked toether at it, for at least 3 generations! And it's all Larry's fault (thanks, Larry) that we're in Haiti today! When a mission team was organized at Larry's church (Cedar Hills), Larry was "invited" to go to work on the well & pump, which was in need of repair. Larry "invited" Rusty to join him on this adventure & help with the well & pump work ("I'm not going if you don't go help me...I'll even pay your way!") And so the adventure began!

Justin, Rusty, Larry & crew have to be the hardest working guys around. They start early and don't stop til they're done. They come home exhausted with their arms dragging from slinging heavy wrenches, bags of cement, welding, pulling at huge, heavy pipe all day.

As I've said before, we have a family business, and we would never be able to do what God has now called us to without the support and help of our children. Justin runs the business in our absence (and pretty much even when we aren't) and we couldn't be more proud. Just look at those little helpers.... aren't they the cutest roughnecks you've ever seen?

"Make it your ambition to lead a quiet life, to mind your own business and to work with your hands, just as we told you, so that your daily life may win the respect of outsiders and so that you will not be dependent on anybody."
I Thessalonians 4 : 11 & 12
