Yipppeeeee!

Yaaaaaay!!! We met with Dr. Painter from Mission Harvest this morning and talked about SHIPPING :-)

We have big problems getting our supplies & sponsor gifts to Haiti. In the past the best way to get stuff down was to hand carry 50lb. duffle bags. The airline allows ony 2 checked bags per person, so it was not easy to get everything we needed down. Trying to decide between formula & shoes, or diapers & vitamins... you get the picture. We've grown so much & have so many areas of ministry now it gets more difficult each month.

God continues to amaze us at how He goes before us & puts us in contact with ust the rigt people at just the right time. Dr. Painter just retured from Haiti. He as there last week. Mr. Toutoute was in his office yesterday making arrangements for Sherri's school. He understands our diffiulty in shipping & our huge needs in Haiti. He has made arrangements with the powers that be to ship to Haiti without paying the dreaded import taxes:-)

We can start shipping stuff right away!! We might even be able to get all the shoes, uniforms & school stuff, meds & vitamins, and toys, etc. that we need before Christmas!! Yippee!! Can you see me doing my celebration/ touchdown dance?! Let me know if you or your group want to sponsor a box. I can use people to help me sort & pack, too. Yaaay, mission work that's stateside- anybod can help- no passsports or shots required!! What fun ;-)
