Hello,
Here I (david) am again to tell you about our day. It is Saturday and we are nearing the end of our trip and the horizon is in sight. How sad that I (david) look back on this trip and I wish I had made a bigger difference but our jobs aren't here to cause the instant revolution of the Haitian psych, nope. We're seed planters...harvesters of souls and to think we are anything different is stupid and a little naive.
Anyways, this was our "last" work day and there wasn't much that I (david) can say I accomplished. Taryn and I worked on two rooms and we painted our clothes more than we did the rooms. Frank and Larry finished the roach infested kitchen closet and I can't even imagine the fight they had as they repainted everything in that kitchen. Eric was again out and about welding this and that and drilling this and that and fixing this and that and so on and so on. Steven was working on electrical wiring. And Micah stensiled, if that is a word, all the rooms with a various amounts of stars and soccer balls. Misti and Faith worked with the kids upstairs and fixing up various dresses and fitting them.
After lunch and quick showers we went out to the streets for a Street Revival....on the street. Anyways, we sang, we danced, we praised, Micah preached, and the dancing was spiritual and tiring and a great work out! It is night time and time for me to turn in. Farewell...
