"Noel" came early

Tropical storm "Noel" has been sitting over Haiti & the Dominican for a couple of days. It is reported to be a slow moving storm producing massive amounts of rain. I spoke with our employees this morning and they reported a lot of wind & rain overnight, but so far, Praise God, all is well. You can check out news reports about this storm here and here.

Big downpours can be devastating and even deadly in Haiti. Remember, 2 or 3 weeks ago there was a flood in the nearby town of Cabaret that washed away homes & families, killing as many as 200 people.

Please pray for the safety of our children and our neighbors and pray that this storm moves away quickly and does not leave any significant damage behind. Life is already extremely difficult for the Haitian people and the fight for survival an everyday event.
