Once a week we have a family night. Everyone gathers, the videos are turned off, and the fun begins.
We start with a couple of familiar songs like Jesus loves me.
We hear a Bible story and watch as it unfolds through the old-fashioned magic of flannelgraph.
Then we sing more praise songs together.
Soon little groups and soloists are performing.
Everyone is singing & dancing and laughing & happy as we love on each other & share our love for Jesus.
It is a wonderful, joy-filled time where everyone truly feels part of The Family.
But may the righteous be glad
and rejoice before God;
may they be happy and joyful.
Sing to God, sing praise to his name,
extol him who rides on the clouds-
his name is the Lord-
and rejoice before him.
A father to the fatherless, a defender of widows,
is God in his holy dwelling.
God sets the lonely in families,
he leads forth the prisoners with singing;
but the rebellious live in a sun-scorched land.
